Poland, with about 41 million inhabitants, is the eighth largest country in Europe. Only 0.2% of its population is evangelical Christian. This presents a huge mission field. There are hundreds of cities in Poland that do not have an evangelical church.
The capital of Poland, Warsaw is a modern city with 3 million people living in it and enjoying all comforts of living in European Union and beauty of 4 distinct seasons.
Poland’s location positions it for outreach into the east, where post-war missionaries will be needed for counseling, healing and church planting.
The cost of living in Poland is lower than in Western European countries. And, according to a survey conducted by Eurostat, “Poland ranks an honorable second place among the happiest countries in the EU,” with Austria coming in first.
Poland is a friendly and open country where most young Poles are fluent in English.
Poland has created a high-quality educational environment due to its tradition of academic education, which dates to 1364. There are strict accreditations for every course available.
The latest survey by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development study ranked Poland as the fifth in Europe and tenth in the world for its educational system.
Poland is not yet so diverse and with the newly elected pro-EU and foreign-friendly Polish government, we believe it is a good time to welcome foreign students. The Polish Regulation of the Minister of Education and Science states that “a curriculum may provide for some or all courses in a given program to be taught in a language other than Polish.” This regulation makes it possible for TC Studies to be offered in English and soon in other languages.
By teaching TC Studies in English, and soon after in Spanish, we are opening the doors of Poland to foreign evangelical Christian students. TC Studies students will put into practice what they are learning. This approach will create the desired effect, the expansion of the Kingdom of God.
With TC Studies we look even beyond Poland. We know and expect that many students will continue their studies or go to work not only in Poland but also other European countries. Christianity in Europe is in decline and needs a revival. Europe will benefit from the presence of well-educated and skilled evangelical Christian students who bring the multipliable passion for Christ into their communities.
