The NOVUS Foundation began as a Christian counseling ministry serving Ukrainian mothers and children traumatized by war. As needs grew, God expanded the vision—from providing counseling to training Christian counselors who can serve the Church and the world. This led to the creation of the Theology and Counseling Studies (TC Studies) program, now a fully accredited bachelor’s degree in partnership with WBST–International Theological College in Warsaw.
To meet the ongoing demand for Christ-centered emotional and spiritual care, NOVUS established the NOVUS Therapy Center, one of the few Protestant evangelical counseling centers in Poland. With over 1.5 million Ukrainians currently living in Poland, we continue serving Ukrainian families while also offering counseling in Polish and English to the wider community. Each session invites God’s presence through Scripture, prayer, and Christian values—and to this day, no one has declined a closing prayer. We praise God for His healing work.
Christian Counseling in TC Studies
All TC Studies students receive formal academic and practical training in Christian counseling, including supervised experience through the NOVUS Therapy Center. In their third year, students also lead Resilience Retreats for groups, couples, and families, gaining hands-on ministry, pastoral-care, and counseling skills.
Graduates are prepared to serve as counselors and ministry leaders in churches, missions, community organizations, foundations, and NGOs—locally and globally.
A Unique Program in Europe & Poland
WBST’s Theology & Counseling Studies is one of the only accredited programs in Europe—and the only one in Poland—that combines theological education with formal Christian counseling training. This unique blend forms leaders who are biblically grounded, emotionally mature, relationally wise, and spiritually sensitive.
