The NOVUS Foundation was established to provide mental health care for thousands of Ukrainian families displaced and traumatized by the war with Russia.
To meet the growing need for professional Christian psychological support, the NOVUS Foundation created the NOVUS Therapy Center, one of the few Protestant, evangelical Christian therapy centers in Poland.
There are approximately 5.9 million Ukrainians in Poland, including both long-term residents and recent refugees. This is why we continue to support families in Ukrainian. Due to the high demand for our services, we have also expanded to offer Christian Counseling in Polish and English.
Our help is being requested by an increasing number of Christian and non-Christian individuals. During counseling sessions, our team invites God to be the center of the discussion, based on biblical principles and Christian values.
Each session concludes with a prayer. So far, no one has declined a prayer, and we thank God for that.
All TC Studies students receive formal academic training in Christian counseling, including the practical use of counseling tools. Through the NOVUS Therapy Center, students will have the opportunity to practice Christian counseling firsthand.
Third-year students will be tasked with organizing Resilience Retreats, starting with small groups, then couples, and finally families, in the form of Christian family camps.
TC Studies graduate students will be prepared and equipped to provide Christian counseling not only in churches but also in foundations, charities, and NGOs.
TC Studies prepares Christians to be servant leaders with a counselor’s heart.
